Hello, plz can anyone help me with this?
I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 PH317-52 2018. BIOS version 1.24 and my graphique card is not working. It's a GTX 1060. (code 43 error)



Windows 1909, latest driver of the GPU.(442.74-notebook-win10-64bit-international-dch-whql)
I tried everything i now. i used DDU and some different method of uninstall. I CAME UP WITH NOTHING.
Thank you in advance.

N.B: The problem started when Geforce Expirence installed a new update.But i think it's the windows update.

    SimonRiley17 if this happened recently try to find out which were the latest windows updates installed and roll back/remove them see if it fixes the issue als use older drivers from 3/6 months old you can check here on the nvidia forum for any possible fix you can also try a battery power drain leave it to rest 2-3h and reset bios to default settings and try to see if with the windows fast startup disabled would work or not if not theres also the option to reset to stock recovery clean install but backup whatever you need first to rule out any software issues after this last one the issue still persists i would say its a hardware issue and you should contact acer support to send it back if still on warranty to get it checked good luck :)

    Firstly, there should not be any problems with windows updates for v1909 to affect your NVIDIA card, rolling back and/or modding anything could create future problems and complications for your windows OP and to your Win-10 OP system. Try to uninstall your current graphics driver completely from "Device Manager" and reboot your laptop, then, see if Win-10 has installed any generic driver for the Geforce GTX 1060, as windows do have OEM drivers that work 100% with Win-10 instead of the NVIDIA drivers. 

    Also, what driver do you have installed for your GTX 1060 now? Is it the most current NVIDIA 442.74 WHQL driver? See here as this is the latest driver for the GTX 1060https://www.nvidia.com/Download/driverResults.aspx/158759/en-us

    If it is, then, uninstall NVIDIA 442.74 WHQL driver and let windows update its OEM windows driver that work with Win-10 that supports your GeForce 10 Series: GeForce GTX 1060 card which shouldn't give you any problems or errors.

    So youre basically saying with absolute sure/certainty that windows updates wont/will ever screw up anything up :p  (i respect everyones opinion but ... doesnt mean i have to agree with it, you either work for MS or have anything to gain for defending them theres not many doing it)  i wouldnt defend MS ever neither if they would pay me to do so anyway their OS its full of bugs and will always be but of course anyone is free to give their own advice its a free world (so far) and its up to the OP who has the issue to accept them or not :)

    Did you try to run troubleshoot?
    No, can you tell me the steps after clicking on ALT + F10?

    • This error can affect Nvidia graphics cards, and if you encounter it, be sure to run the Hardware troubleshoot and see if that helps.
    • Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems
    Try to run troubleshoot go to settings →update&security → find troubleshoot option in left side click on it →click on/run program compatibility troubleshoot

    The problem is old so i can't roll back, i think it was Win 10 1903. I also used older driver form nvidia.com the issue is still there.
    I tried the battery power drain too. Nothing new. 

    These are the problem :
          *Error 43 in device Manager.
          *nVidida Control Panel does NOT appear.
          *nVidia GeForce Experience repeatedly states new update is available, though its the same version being reinstalled repeatedly. 
    As for the stock recovery clean install, if i did that should i let the windows install the driver or the latest update or using geforce experience?
    For the BIOS update i install the version that a lot of people did. It 1.24. The latest is 1.26

    N.B : The problem started when geforce installed a new update.

    yes i m having the same issue w my  acer nitro 5!!!   ugh... can someone assist?  i  went back to old bios and even windows recovery point as well.  it does not work.

    I have in my aver predator 300 a hardware issue.
    I tried avery method that I know and suggested.NOTHING!!
    But i am not sure so, if anything happened will let you know.
