I have tried installing the LegacyDriver as some have suggested, but Windows 10 cannot install or utilize this driver. Anyone have any other suggestions?

    Dear Dhbrod,

Have you checked the manufacturer 's website, see if they have some updated drivers?

Thank you for responding. The manufacturer is axGear. I have not found a website for them, but for the company that markets their products. That site has no drivers, but I did send them a request for help with drivers. So far no response.

To make things simple, just buy a IEEE 1394 Firewire to USB conversion cable. There are just so many of them selling around $10
