Laptop right hinge is broken in 2 months - Rediculus

Hi I have bought Accer Aspire 7 and after 2 months, Right hinge og the laptop is broken(after having good care). Is this covered under warranty?

    Yes, it should be, as long as you didn't go at it with a sledgehammer every part (except the battery probably) is covered. And you're not alone by the way, different systems (an Aspire 3 and a Nitro I think), but I recall at least 2 other threads with the same problem as yours hinges braking and not only that, but breaking the plastic surrounding them or the bezel of the screen.

    Anyway, get in touch with Acer support (because this is a community forum and the people in here are just like you and me, unrelated to the company) and have the laptop serviced under warranty. I remember the person in one of the cases had concluded it was because of the stress the piece was subjected to, don't know if it helps but if that's the case it had nothing to do with how you used the laptop.

    I wish we could have access to the number of cases like this vs the total number of units sold. It's certainly small, I mean those who don't have problems with that don't come around to comment "Hey! My hinges are working fine", but I'm interested nonetheless.
