I just bought a new Triton 300 but I expected a 240hz refresh rate as advertised here https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-series/predatortriton300. For some reason none of the model actually have the 240hz. https://www.acer.com/ac/en/GB/content/predator-model/NH.Q7AEK.001 This is the highest specs on acers website and it shows the refresh rate as 144hz.
This seems like false advertising if you are not actually providing what you are advertising. Or I got something wrong? can someone explain.

I think there is something wrong with the advertising. Probably false advertising

Aqub they actually have a 240hz model which is the top tier of the T300 and its not even available in all countries maybe the shop/seller where you bought it from just fooled you about the specs many do so in order to get more money for them so watch out and be very careful from where you buy them you have this one for ex (see below) and i think its the only model that has 240hz as i said its not available in all countries this is a US exclusive model only there is no 240hz uk model only 144hz so again if the shop/seller where you bought it advertised 240hz they lied and you should ask for a partial refund/compensation for those acts good luck :)

I bought it from Currys/PC WORLD.
If they don't sell the 240hz in uk then why advertise it as a feature. It doesn't make sense. In Acers website the hightest model is the 2070 model but its 144hz. Just in the previous page the high refresh rate is being advertised as a big feature.

I checked for the triton 500 which they are advertising 300hz but when you go in to the details of all models they have completely  removed the mention of refresh rate. Those are probably running 144hz too.

Aqub its as i already said they might advertise it on purpose to sell more i would ask for a partial refund many resellers do it in order to sell more anyways  i will never buy anything from currys myself just because of their behaviour they just want to sell and sell doesnt matter how they do it neither the means they use to achieve it as you can see if the model its not available with 240hz in the UK only in the US and yes the main page advertising the model always shows the max specs of that particular model and its the same page for all countries but that doesnt mean that is available in your country what counts its always whats in the the models page for each country and youre most probably right when u say they are advertising the T500 as 300hz but its prob just for show off as usual (dunno that you would have to investigate yourself) as you will prob get a 144hz its just a case of before buying anything getting them to provide real proof of the specs that youre exactly trying to buy its their duty to do so as a reseller good luck :)
