Is the thunderbolt port in Swift 5 (SF514-54GT) compatible with any external GPU? specifically Razer Core X Chroma?

I'm trying this now, and it works fine, it'll use the external card, but, I can't figure out what's happening with the power over USB-C. It's meant to support USB PD, but I'm seeing mixed things now.

    Acer's specs say:
    Thunderbolt Port
    • Up to 40Gbps Thunderbolt transmission
    • Support USB3.1 Gen 1/2 and Display port 1.4
    • System charging up to 15W
    • Needed additional flash memory
I believe the last line means it supports additional memory (flash drives), not that additional memory is needed. The part you are asking about is the charging, which at 15W max is not going to do anything except allow the battery to last longer, since the standard charger is a 65W.

Can I ask where this spec comes from?

It's not anywhere I've looked, so far all specs (including my manual) state:
USB Type-C information• USB 3.1 Gen 2 with transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps.• Supports DisplayPort™ audio/video output.• Compatible with Thunderbolt™3.• Delivers up to 3 A at 5 V DC for USB charging.• DC-in: requires power adapter or power source providing 65 W at20 V.For optimal performance, please use a certified Acer power adapter or USB Power Delivery device

The Razer eGPU delivers 100w over Thunderbolt. Either way, the GPU part works, I just played Halo.

That snip is from the service guide, not available to the public.

I see, thanks billsey, in that case, I might have to return my Swift!

I can't see any advantage for Acer in making all public consumer material show that it can charge via USB C when it's not the case. They even sell a 45W USB Power Accessory!

Ultimately, my use case of using one cable with my monitor and having it charge and display at the same time doesn't work!

It''s a real shame, I really liked this laptop and its design over most others.
