When I connect my Swift 3 Laptop - SF314-55G to either TV or projector via HDMI cable, the video projects but the audio is still coming from the computer instead of the output device. How can I fix this? This problem just started in the past couple of months. When I check at the sound playback list, HDMI is not listed in the options.

Right click on the volume icon at bottom right and choose Sound Settings. Make sure the output device is the HDMI port and it should play on the TV.

Thanks. HDMI is not in the drop-down for sound output; only the computer speakers.

OK, do you have a different HDMI cable to test with? Something is telling the laptop here's no audio signals on the port and that's usually a cable issue.

I have tested at home with TV and at work with a projector. Both with different cables.
