This worked for me on the Aspire A515 I just bought and set up last week. All was working until I changed my internet service plan today.
Description of how to get there was slightly different , but figured it out. Thanks.

I bought an aspire A515-43 brand new today and I’m having the same issue. There is no “802.11n” mode in my advanced drop down. Am I missing something?

Does your laptop have WiFi 6? If it does this is WiFi n compatible.
