why do my fps keep dropping randomly

whenever i play any games on my acer nitro 5 with intel i5 and gtx 1660ti i play for a bit and then my fps starts to drop randomly i changed all the settings for better performance I went into the nvidia control panel and changed everything so my games use the gtx 1660ti and i still have fps problems, this happens when my laptops is plugged in and if its not plugged in i get even worse performance i dont know what to do please help

Processor and GPU only achieve maximum performance when they are plugged into the power outlet and set high performance power plan from nitrosense.
Without charging you will get 50% of performance both GPU and CPU.

Check mine --> https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/30914801. Background noise is just 3%. Aim to get to yours under 10%.
Also, my power plan is optimized not to bump up CPU speeds rapidly, this keeps CPU running at slightly lower performance levels (unnoticeable performance difference) to help keep temps lower.
