I tried installing a WD Green 480Gb M.2 2280 SATA IIII NAND on the 2nd SSD slot (PCIE Slot) but it could not be detected! Not in BIOS or in Disk Management. The other SSD slot (PCIE + SATA) is already occupied by Samsung SSD 860 EVO 2.2 250GB where my Windows is installed.

I switched the two SSDs and now, the Samsung SSD (PCIE slot) is not showing up. But I did see the WD 480GB SSD got detected in BIOS. But since I couldn't run Windows, I put it back to the original setup. Could this be a hardware issue - the PCIE slot is not working? Please help!!

Is the port enabled in BIOS?

How do I do that? I'm in BIOS now and I'm not sure if there's an option to Enable a port or HDD or SSD  :s

On the Advanced tab you should have storage configuration like this:

Mine does not have the Storage Device Configuration option though. Just these two choices - Intel VTX and Intel VTD..  :'(

Then those are enabled by default and the issue is giong to the MB or Port fault direction... :( send it to Acer for diagnostic and repair.

Well you already swapped the SSDs and the port is not recognizing the Samsung either, so there is nothing left to troubleshoot :(
And you are welcome mate, good luck!
