New Nitro 5 AN515-55-76EX

Hi,

I've just purchased a new gaming laptop today from Argos in the UK. The model number is ANS15-55-76EX, Intel i7-1750H with a 1650Ti.

According to the Argos website this laptop is supposed to come with "4-zone RGB keyboard" which as soon as I took it out of the box and saw the red keys I realised it didn't. Ok, no biggie, but still not as advertised. After playing around with it for a while. it now seems that neither does this come with the advertised 144Hz IPS screen, as I can't see anywhere how I change it from the bog standard 60Hz.

I'm worried to delve any further now to find out other specs that are wrong, how can this happen?? Can anyone advise? I am in 2 minds now whether to return this as it clearly is not what I thought I was purchasing.

    15' or 17' as  I can`t find this particular model number anywhere?

    Hum, does it have a sticker 144hz on the bottom left on the panel?

    No, it has a sticker that says Full HD 1080.

    Then it is 60hz only, call the store and ask for the advertised product or for compensation (free upgrade, 15-20% money back or similar)

    Hi Guys,

    I am the exact same, bought this and got it today from Argos... seems to only be a 60hz even tho I payed for the 144hz, i'll get onto Customer support :) 
  • Can you enter the first ten partnumber numbers? Maybe I can get more details about that specific model.

    Hi David,

    I am taking it back to the Store tonight, they told me to take and back and see what they can do, I got this answer from online support as they do not accept phone requests anymore for my argos.
