I recently purchased an Acer Predator Helios 300, PH5315-52-563Q. This laptop has an i5-9300H and a GTX 2060. When I game the temperatures get pretty high does anyone have an idea on how to undervolt this thing? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you!

    Good evening depthcontrol !

    Tall how much?
You could use HWMonitor and post the prints here.

HOW HOT IS IT GETTING An i 5 cpu runs hotter under same situation as it works harder than an i7. My hp laptop with i 5 and hard drives and a nvidia card in it gets pretty warm even when not running ganes. It runs cooler when it is propped up or elavated to allow more air flow

It can get up to 85 degrees and higher when I play games like Warzone

depthcontrol optimise your windows properly and undervolt it with TS check here  you temps shouldnt go above 85'ish cpu and 70/75 gpu max if after optimising/undervolting your temps are still higher than the max temps you need to get it repasted with kryonaut or similar (spread method only a thin layer covering both diodes its enough too much paste its bad) if you can without voiding the warranty or send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock paste also make sure the back its lifted 2/3" for a proper airflow

There are no preset values for i5-9300h

Now that I use throttlestop with i5-8300h preset i get around 76 degres max during gameplay

    Are these temps okay?
