Acer Nitro 5 an515-54 doesn’t read SSD

I bought a new laptop and it comes with 1 TB HDD and 256 SSD.
the ssd isn’t shown in bios or any other place

    Well either it was not advertised properly or the ssd is defective, both ways you should return it  for replacement .Does it have a sticler on the box with the specs? What is the exact model number AN515-54-XXXX?

    Yep, It is advertised with 256gb ssd so if you don`t have it visible in BIOS go to the store and ask for replacement.

    Mate i found that you need to change to sata ahci and make a new bootable usb and the problem is solved

    Even better so the rst/raid controller is preventing the ssd to be visible even in the BIOS, wow. I know that it is a pain in the ... and causing more troubles than values, but not manage to deal with an NVMe at a low level - that`s pathetic.It even has option rom build in the BIOS... nevermind I am glad that your issue is fixed.
