Is the bottom support of the T232 monitor removable?

We currently have a T231 touchscreen and tried unsuccessfully to purchase more. The T232 is much taller according to the specs(16.5"). If the bottom support in the front is removable, this monitor will fill our needs.

I'm looking at it and it looks like that clear plastic piece on the bottom of the LCD may actually come off, but don't quote me on that. If that comes off, I don't think that the kick stand will work properly, so you may need to wall mount it.

I am looking to wall mount the monitor in an area with 15" height clearance.

I know it's an old thread, but to answer your questions, yes - it is removable.  Only 4 small screws holding it in place.  I mounted mine on a VESA mount and removed the clear plastic and arm stand on the rear.  It actually comes with a small black plastic plate to cover the area where the kick-stand is removed from.
