so my issue was , all of a sudden the Gtx 1060 in the Helios 300 2017 disappeared from device manager and doesn't work anymore,  tried reinstalling windows, factory reset , bios update .. nearly everything software related , tried reseting the battery too .. but none worked
so i left the laptop for a couple of days , to come back to the gpu working again somehow .. so i was like .. ok let's try a game , the game wanted me to reboot the laptop so i did . then the gpu was gone again ..

i took it to a technician 3 days ago .. then they called me saying that everything is working properly..
went today to pick it up .. and tried it at their place , it was working great ..

just came back home .. getting ready to try again .. opened up . everything fine .. so i thought.. why don't i plug it in and play a game
.. so i shutdown , plugged it in .. opened up , typed in the password ..
everything is loading . then boom  BSOD .. after the laptop boots up again .. No gpu AGGGAAAIN .

WHAT CAN BE THE ISSUE , PLEASE HELP

Model : Helios 300 2017 g3-571
i7-7700hq
16gb ram
gtx 1060
micron 256gb ssd
2tb seagate firecuda sshd

Note : The first time it disappeared was after i repasted the cpu and gpu .. but i don't think that's a reason for it to happen

Is there a code error in the BSOD?

Does any game cause this crash? Or some games in particular?

This crash ocurr randomly when using the laptop in normal situations (browsing web...)? Or only when starting games?

    no particular bsod code
i didn't even launch anything.. i only booted with the laptop plugged in

before i plug the laptop in everything was working fine . with gpu and all.. but after i plugged it . it booted , then bsod .. then rebooted , gpu is gone . but laptop is working
  • Did this problem occur after upgrading windows to version 2004? Have you tried using the ddu program on safeboot?

the program occurred before updating to Version 2004 .
i tried uninstalling drivers with ddu in safe mode but when i tried reinstalling using nvidia drivers from there site .. it said that there is no hardware compatible with this driver , the gpu used to show in the device manager as a hidden device and it gave error 45 but sometimes it doesn't show any device anymore

LxrdPsychX seems the first gen of the H300 is suddenly having issues i have seen loads lately regarding the G3-571 and to me its probably expected as this was the first released H300 gen it was not yet perfected so some issues are certainly expected to arise after awhile also there are always some lemons in the basked but much has improved since then on all the newer variants unless youre having a error 43/45 in the device manager DGPU driver (which this means mostly a hardware failure ) you should technically be fine be performing a battery powerdrain followed by a bios setup defaults or a stock recovery clean install ALT+F10 on boot and selecting delete everything option (backup whatever u need first to the secondary drive) to rule out any software issues if after a clean install the issue persists i would certainly point to hardware failure good luck

Bare in mind gpu and cpu if not properly soldered they will become detached useless in long term mostly due to high heat and reballing a cpu/gpu when this one becomes detached its not for everyone you require a specialised technician to do so mostly one of those who work in the manufacturing assembly also it wouldnt be cheap even if a technician is found neither getting a donor mobo which could be up to 1000 usd in these cases where the DGPU becomes faulty there are only 2 viable options either keep it and use the IGPU only (would mostly  make it a normal day by day laptop only kinda paper weight) or just get a new one hope any of this helps and that your issue its not hardware because if it is just forget it its my best advice

so ,um .. the battery power drain means i use the laptop till its out of battery? and it gives me error code 45 , if that's anything to consider

LxrdPsychX as i said error's 43/45 as mostly hardware failure meaning the hardware cannot be initiated and you cant disconnect/reconnect because its soldered if even one of the pins of the DGPU got loose due to the heat for ex it wont work anymore and you cant see it because that would require de solder the gpu reballing and solder it again its a very complicated and expensive process thats why all manufacturers when theres hardware fault under wrranty they just swap the mobo the usual main symptoms might be screen wise lines tearing or completely messed up and the device manager errors or even others

sadly it's not under warranty anymore,  but the weird thing that the gpu will all of a sudden work again.  but not for long , so i'll try to do what you told me again .. and hoping that fixes it
