I just bought a brand new Nitro 5 AN515-44 and when I try to download Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare I am getting super slow download speeds. It is only downloading the game at around 700-800 KB/s. Can someone please help me resolve this problem?

So you pay for 6 mbps and you get what you payed for. As you can see from the table below your download speed should be around 0,75MB/s or  ~700-800 KB/s.
    Megabit per secondMegabyte per second
    1 Mbps0.125 MB/s
    2 Mbps0.25 MB/s
    3 Mbps0.375 MB/s
    4 Mbps0.5 MB/s
    5 Mbps0.625 MB/s
    6 Mbps0.75 MB/s
    7 Mbps0.875 MB/s
    8 Mbps1 MB/s

Why do you think that the issue is with the laptop?

This problem is NOT from your Nitro 5 AN515-44 its from the site where you are downloading from Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare from. try to download from a different source where this game can be downloaded on a faster speed, as your source must have a very slow downloading speed e.g. 700-800 KB/s whcih is very slow or try to check your internet speed with an "Internet Speed Test" and see if this test is slow also, whcih I don'tthink that it will be.

Because my internet usually runs pretty fast. Before I got this laptop I would play and download games on an Xbox that was connected to the internet with an Ethernet cable and it would download games at around 7-8 MB/s. I unplugged and used the same Ethernet cable with my laptop and it would only download the game at around 800 KB/s.

What other sites would I download the game from? And I did an internet speed test and it said my download speed is 5.83 Mbps and my upload speed is 0.63 Mbps.

Speeds are too low, check for an issue with the ISP

If you choose a 16gb ram model, I believe that there will be no problems, as long as it has the same characteristics as speed, cas latency. However, it will actually work in flex mode, as 8gb will work in dual channel and the remaining 12gb will work in single channel.
My model only came with 8 gb of ram but I purchased an additional 8gb of ram yesterday since there is an empty slot. If I instal the additional ram do you think it will perform better?

Yes I did. My internet download speed is running at around 6Mbps which is what I’m paying for. Everything else I have connected to the internet runs just fine except for this laptop.

Thank you for your help. This might be a dumb question but why on my Xbox one do I get faster download speeds then on this laptop?
