Hi, I have an Acer Predator Helios 300 (Model G3-572) laptop. It originally came with a 8GB SK Hynix ram. I recently bought a new 16 GB ram (Kingston HyperX). Both of their speeds are 2400 MHz(I am quite sure about 8GB ram as I have seen it in Task Manager's Performance section while speed of 16GB ram is 2400MHz as its specs). But the problem is when I am using these ram in dual mode, the overall speed is getting down to 2133 MHz which is quite unacceptable for me. So, I am looking for someone's help in this regard(i.e overall speed of 2400MHz). I read about XMP setting but I can't find it my bios or UEFI settings. Please Help!

Also, please elaborate the impact of this speed difference of various tasks like machine learning, gaming, simulation modeling, etc.
I would really appreciate someone's help.

Firts of all you have a timings mismatch and second for reliable dual channel you have to get same size, speed, CL  and JEDEC profiles. Third - one is XMP the other one not, so you have to be happy thta your system is still stable. And finally one module is 1R and the other one 2R...

I am also attaching screenshot of Memory speed. This is when I used only my new 16 GB HyperX ram in my laptop. As you can see, its speed is 2400MHz. My other 8GB ram is also showing 2400 MHz when ran alone. Also, As you can see manufacturer of both these ram is same: SK Hynix.

So, that means I cannot get 2400 MHz in current setting. In order to get 2400 MHz, I will have to use 2 x 8GB RAM or 2 X 16GB RAM. Isn't it?
