Tinkerer
Yes. I was afraid it could either void my warranty or brick my Lap so I thought of asking the community about it. Anyways thankyou I received what I was looking for, I will upgrade my Ram it's better that way and safe.egydiocoelho said:The user is speaking in Portuguese. What he says is that you need to press fn + tab three times and then press f10 to save. However, fn + tab may not work on nitro 5 models with amd processors. I also think that the information that is changed is also not saved by the bios. In addition, those resources that are made available can turn the notebook into a brick.
The warranty won’t be voided. Install CPUz and go to the “SPD” section at section “Max Bandwidth” to get the exact specification of your OEM ram which should be e.g. PC4-21300 then match your OEM ram exactly with the same specs which should be the “8GB DDR4-2666-PC4-21300 SODIMM” type ram and then you will have 16GB ram in dual channel. To make sure, look at the “Memory” section of CPUz in “Channel#” which should say “Dual”, simple.Akash2812 said:Yes. I have asked others but is it okay to upgrade the ram now? Will it void my warranty? We need to remove that sticker at the back for accessing one of the screws.
I have gone through some YT videos. We need to unlock the Advance bios options which could be done by pressing some specific keys. In the advance options menu it could be done.egydiocoelho said:The bios of this model do not have the option to decrease the amount of RAM on the video card.

Also, just for your information, I think your standard ram is the 1x 8GB DDR4-2400 PC4-19200 so just match that up and you will have 16GB ram in Dual mode.
