For those who got the problem, did you tried installing turboC? Cause that's the most recent application I've installed.
Uninstall TurboC and check whether it gets solved for you. If not, that would be a hardware problem.

Probably a hardware problem, I already uninstalled it...

Since it is clear now, visit the service center and get it fixed.

  • It would be interesting if you could test with another power adapter. Also, does the same issue occur in safe mode?

It would not only have affected g3-572 users, but it would have affected users of the an515-51, g3-571, g3-573 and ph317-51 models as they all use the same motherboard. It would be interesting if he upgraded the bios to version 1.22 and windows to version 1903, because I have the an515-51-75kz model and I don't have these problems.
Hello, i have a an515-51 and recently developed similar problems.... my laptop keeps connecting charger and disconnectiong at 98%..... i tried resetting battery, updating and uninstalling drivers, disabling fast startup, trying out other adapters, uninstalling windows updates.... but to no avail.....i dont know what is the problem pls help me out..... also im out of warranty....

Hello, I don't know how to open new topic and you sent that link it was in other language..... I want to ask you whether it's ok to drain down laptops battery to 0%...... Also is it ok press down battery reset pinhole for 15 secs...... And if it doesn't work then can I show to service center..... Pls help me out...... I'm scared that I won't be able to play games

I suggest that you try to perform the procedure that the French user did. You can select a minimum of 5% of the battery as well.

It works indeed. Try doing this: Drain to 0 by charging your mobile device through the USB 3 port with the laptop off. After it gets drained completely, disconnect your mobile device and do the battery reset pinhole procedure for 15s. Then, wait for a minute and plug-in the charger to the PC. Let it complete.

Well, I don't know if you still have this problem, but I had the same problem in a Lenovo Laptop, and thought it was a physical issue at first but I noticed that when I turn off the laptop, the Power LED stops blinking and the laptop charges normally, so I was certain it was a software issue, The problem in my case was in my Intel Control Panel Power settings; my settings for "Plugged In" was "Maximum Performance" I changed it to "Balanced Mode" and it solved the issue! I don't know if you have an Intel Graphics or whether u have the same issue, but it's worth trying!

Same thing happened to me, I just gave up(Due to COVID) and started dealing with the problem. Currently using my lappy as PC (If you charge your lappy for 10-12 hours constantly, it will reach 100% and stay there). I turn on charging before starting lappy everytime.
