To me this seems like excessive BLB for the price of the x35.  Should I return this or try and get replaced?

I phoned the number for "Predator Premium Service".  The gentleman who I spoke with was unfamiliar with the term backlight bleeding.  I got a generic response, "ship it to us and we can see about possibly repairing it".  They were not able to confirm that it would even be repaired with new parts.  I am extremely dissapointed in this level of service.  For a brand new $3200 monitor I expected more.  Apparently my only options are to take a gamble returning to Amazon and buying another (that may have the same exact issue) or try the Asus panel instead.  Anyone have any advice/suggestions I am overlooking?

That looks pretty normal to me, you'll only notice it with very dark screen, like the one you are showing. My guess is if you sent it in you'd get another that looks just the same.
