Put an SSD drive and upgrade your ram with your Acer E5-575G-50ZZ which will improve the speed and response of this laptop by at least 200+%. Its not Win-10's fault that your laptop is slow, its the hardware that you have, the Acer E5-575G-50ZZ comes bare bone OEM with 4GB RAM and a 1TB spinner HDD but has a good cpu of an Intel Core i5 2.7 GHz with 3MB cache and an Nvidia gpu!

The upgrade propabilities for the Acer E5-575G-50ZZ are really substantial and you can take its 4GB stabdard RAM up to a max of 32GB in 2x slots (2 banks of 1) that is why its slow, also it has a spinner HDD which are usually slow and not as quick as an SSD drive, all these upgrades will improve your speeds tremendously.

The Acer E5-575G-50ZZ can be upgraded trmendouley with these upgrades:
    1. 3D NAND M.2 Type 2280 Internal SSD's or
    2. 3D NAND SATA 2.5-inch SSD and a variety of
    3. RAM upgrades either 1x 4GB, 1x 8GB or 16GB but the best way is to ugrade to the RAM kit’s of either 2 x 8GB or 2x 16GB of DDR4-2400 SODIMM, DDR4-2666 SODIMM to DDR4-3200 SODIMM types of ram

If you change the operating system it wont do anything, as no matter what OP you put into your laptop the end result will be the same if the hardware is minimal and becomes obsolete . Win-10 is the best OP and by using Win-7 or Linux you are really downgrading a laptop, thats my opinion, hope this helps.
