OLIO u definitely need to get it repasted with kryonaut oe similar if you can yourself without voiding your warranty or send it back to acer to get it repasted with stock paste also optimise your windows properly and undervolt and make sure the back its lifted 2/3 inches at all times for a proper aiflow

is the voltage too high or is it because of the paste?

Idle should be 38 to 50c or when doing simple tasks. Under heavy graphics load or playing intense game CPU near 80 to possible 90c. As Xapim mention repaste Thermal compound. Use Arctic MX-4 or Kryonaut for best results. Plenty of YouTube videos as to removing bottom cover to access internal components and how to properly clean and reapply thermal paste -- as to spread thin layer across top of CPU and GPU.  You might consider upgrading memory from 16GB to 32GB if you do AutoCAD or Video Editing. Also adding another m.2 NVMe SSD and /or a SSD in the open compartment next to the battery.

Scottyat5 cpu should only got to 85'ish max and gpu 70/75 more than that its on thermal throttling limits :+1:
And yes if you do rendering works u need nvme otherwise not needed for gaming at all normal hdd and m.2 sata for os its enough
