Just as in title, I want to know how to clean my laptop's fan and if it will affect my warranty.

The safest way of cleaning the fan without removing the back cover and possibly voiding your warranty is to alternately vacuum the air intake ports and blow air into the air exhaust ports with a ShopVac or vacuum cleaner. But I doubt it will do much for the fan noise. Might even make it louder as it will be pushing more air through the system. Jack E/NJ

So I can't properly clean a 4 month old laptop which is going helicopter mode without possibly loosing my warranty. Wow Acer is great!

i clean my laptop vent by blowing the air on a half of the section of the exhaust. the half that is tangent to the centrifugal fan. i have a vacuum cleaner that can blow the air. but you can do this even with the mouth.

I've tried blowing but it didn't help. I'll try with compressed air but I've heard it only pushes the dust further inside my laptop so sooner or later more complex cleaning will be necessary and here's my point if it will affect my warranty

You can open the laptop without voiding the warranty if you don't break any tamper seals that may be covering screwheads or between covers. Jack E/NJ

i have open my hp laptop after 4 years and i can tell you that it does not have much dust at all. same thing with acer aspire after 2 years.
so, it is overrated this thing with the dust.
i also have a dell 1521, a 12 yo laptop. i have never disassemble it. once a year i just blow the fan just as i told before. no problem, works like new.
so, if there is a problem with the dust that occurs every few months, you also should check your lungs, no kidding.
