been through every thing to no avail. customer brought in a swift 1 that keeps booting into repair mode. i tried everything and nothing works. I can not get it to even recognize that there is a usb to do a reinstall. I have f12 enabled, secure boot disabled, ect.
I had no boot other than hdd. now i got efi boot 0 yes and windows boot manager for boot priority. both boot into repair.
I am at a loss now with 10 hours trying to get this running.
I also installed a ssd due to owner maxing out the internal ssd. seriously maxed it out with 0 space.
need help fast thanks

Should've already turned off secure boot earlier in the thread after setting supervisor password. Jack E/NJ

Press and hold power button till machine shuts off. Then press and hold ALT+F10, then press the power button to turn the machine back on. A recovery screen should appear. Follow directions to either refresh or reset machine. Jack E/NJ

restore points are gone, also. when resting and keeping files, it does its thing then it says it needs additional space where win is installed and to free up space. so I installed a 2nd ssd, again to no avail.

Do you know the full Swift1 model number. SF11x--xx? If it only has a 32 or 64GB emmc storage, you can often use a NTFS formatted SD card as temporary storage space that Windows needs and uses to complete an installation, update or recovery process. Jack E/NJ

You are likely going to have to boot into the Windows install image and free up space on that drive. Clear out temporary files and softwaredistribution as a start...

mo sorry. usb is not in boot menu. in trouble shooting I get the same message as there is no boot. I have tried to disk cleaner via cmd, nope. chk disk shows sdd is fine.

No. 32GB or 64GB is not RAM. It is the size of an embedded SSD drive chip that's soldered to the mainboard. The extra NTFS format storage needed for a Windows update etc must be in the form factor of an SD card, NOT a USB stick. Jack E/NJ

alt f10 no longer brings up trouble shooting. 10 hours at this or more and not making headway

Can you still access the BiOS menu with pressing and holding F2, then turn the machine on? If yes, you'll probably have to set and F10 to save a BIOS supervisor password in the security tab. Then re-enter the BIOS with the password to disable secure boot. While you're at it make sure the F12 boot and D2D recovery options are enabled in the main tab. Then F10 to save settings again. Then shut down. Insert the USB installation stick. Then turn the machine on and start hitting the F12 key to see if the USB boot option menu appears. Jack E/NJ

How did you prepare the USB installation stick? Did you use Microsoft's USB media creation tool thru this link https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/home  ?  If yes, did you try another USB stick or USB port if available?

Are used Rufus because the Microsoft to will not work on my Linux I even tried Using it on virtual Box and it doesn't work there. Let me do it dual boot and see what happens from there on another computer

Rufus doesn't create a proper USB installation iso on Linux even though its Wine overlay GUI  may trick you into thinking it does. Jack E/NJ

Remember also that you have to disable Secure Boot in the BIOS before your USB install image will be available through the F12 menu.
