my acer nitro 5 AN515-43 is experiencing overheating. when playing game it straight goes to 90 C and then it causes stuttering too much, i was playing CSGO at 110fps it drops to 20 fps then again goes 110fps then 20 -25 fps, this happens with everygame, when unplugged and played it runs fine on integrated. nowadays CPU also hits 80 C
thermal paste is fine and proper

some settings need to done follow these steps -

-set high performance in nitrosense both AC AND BATTERY THEN CLOSE
-After setting up from nitrosense right click on battery option in taskbar and go to power option
-then go to change plan setting (right side of the high performance plan)
-Then go to change advance power settings
-Then find and expand Switchable Dynamic Graphics then expand Global Settings and set maximize performance in both PLUGGED IN AND ON BATTERY
-then find amd graphics power settings then expand Amd powerplay settings and set maximize performance in both PLUGGED IN AND ON BATTERY
-set maximum performance if you have this option available
After completing above steps, run userbenchmark again and play your games

Clean you cooling fan. i was facing the same problem with my laptop, after cleaning the cooling fan and vent. it went back to normal state. CPU temp is stable at 80-83.. once the cpu temperature hits 96 . it will thermal throttle to save the cpu from severe damage

Well don`t get me wrong but those laptops are designed to operate(for best performance) in normal room T, which usually is 18-24 tops. Consider buying a cooling pad.
