I really want to resurrect this laptop because it looks like its in pristine condition but just old.
Pressing the power button does nothing but i believe that the battery is charging, waiting probably 30 mins the battery led went from orange to green which i believe its full.
I did manage to disassembly the whole laptop except the lcd and do some cleaning, fitting cables, thermal pasting and disassemble it back. Still pressing power button does nothing.

Iam unsure about the model because i heard there's also Gateway's Kav60
It seem that the S/N and SNID is not existed.

S/N - LUS700B00192707F981601
SNID - 92703266416

I guess the switch is working fine? I tried to follow some people shorting the power button connector and i tried that, I guess the power button was working or the board itself because somehow placing metal object on a pin make orange led and yellow led turn on itself.
I have been disassembling and assemble the laptop several times. Still nothing changes.
I guess it was the motherboard problem? Not the power button.
Shorting the laptop a lot somehow makes the laptop battery led to orange for the whole time even without battery when plugged in.

That's an Aspire One D250, and it's really an oldie! :) It came originally with XP Home SP3, so one of the later XP machines. When you attempt to turn it on does the fan spin up at all? There's so many different things that could break it that I'm at a loss to guess where to start. :) It's Atom processor based, so a fairly low end system for it's day...

Indeed very old but in a pristine condition that i really wished it to work out but unfortunately no.
Yes pressing power button does nothing, no fan hard drive spinning, no fan spinning, no led changes apart from the battery led, no display output.
I heard from the owner said that the laptop got this problem just last year or 2 years ago.

Not a good sign... It looks like the power switch might now be mounted on the motherboard, but instead connects with a cable. Check that for correct continuity.

Yes, orange just says the battery is partially discharged, I believe.
