No Bootable device? SSD might be dead?

Laptop: Predator Helios 700  / PH717-71
Purchased:  Less than 2 months, still in warranty

Literally 1 hour ago while I was playing the whole laptop froze up for like 20s and shuted down by itself. The moment i turned it on again I got the weird Windows 10 window that asks you do you wanna connect your android device, to save settings and stuff between devices, the PIN setup and so on(that usually appears when you fresh install win10) Sadly cant find a picture on the internet to show you exactly what I am talking about.

After around 10 mins the same freezing happened, more and more often until at some point where, when you start the laptop instead of the usual Predator logo I was getting another one which says "No bootable device found". After multiple tries to turn it on and off I manage to get back into windows for around 5 mins, browsing the Event Viewer eventualy to find whats causing it. But guess what happened? It froze up again.

The only error I manage to find that was something doesnt allow/gives permission to some Windows process or w/e. Like lacking administration access. Sadly the APP ID ws listed as "Unavailable".

Did Microsoft did something wrong or my SSD is malfuctioning for some reason?

Also a bit stupid question: Lets say if it was the SSD, should it happened the same freezing if I am staying in the Bios for example? The reason I am asking is because I am staying for over 20 mins in the BIOS without having any issues while typing this from the phone...

    If it is not doing it in Bios, it must be something in Windows. Did you install something new lately?
    You might try backing up to a previous restore point in System Protection.

    No, I havent install anything. Not even updates. The last restoration point was 30 may. So I decided to roll it. It restored without any issues at all. But then again after i log'd in, on my screen pop'd that windows welcome screen/ whats new, but sadly it froze up again to the  point of startup showing "No bootable device".
    Does these SSD, NVme devices or w/e, are having some kind of a protection? For example an unexpected shutdown or something to enter some state to prevent being damaged? Because  if I wait for lets say 30 mins - 1 hour it starts up, kind of slow loading from the usual but it does.

    I was thinking to try to reset it(clean install), but meanwhile I kinda dont wanna touch it at all. At monday Im planning to bring it back to the place i bought it from, cus its still in warranty. Literally bought it like a month or maybe nearly two ago.
    I'll try to keep it updated as long as I get some info from these guys. Might help someone in the future

    BIOS is stored on a SPI chip and it is loaded from there and has nothing to do with the SSD, so in summary you can`t exclude SSD failure so easy simply because the BIOS is loaded.

  • I would check if this problem is due to fast startup and fastboot in the bios. Do the following:
    a) access the bios, pressing f2 before the acer logo and disable fastboot;
    b) then access windows and go to the power options to disable fast startup. These two functions can cause errors at boot.
