also uncheck "BD PROCHOT" in throttlestop and note the battery will continue discharging slowly even plugged in.

Hi there! I have an Acer swift 3 with i5 8250U and mx150 GPU for more than an year. I was able to run everything constant 50-60 fps at low 1080p/720p depending on the game type but now I'm getting major frame drops like literally my Intel UHD 620 performs better than the mx150. Hell I can't even run CS go or fall guys without lag and 10-20 fps. I installed a fresh copy of windows 10 fully update, my MX150 driver is also up-to date. I even uninstall the GPU driver and installed again hoping it would make any difference but it didn't. Can someone please help me out? My laptop runs smooth for day-to-day task and is really snappy, just suffering during gaming. Again, my GPU used to perform very well and I was getting playable framerates but somethings is really wrong with it and now games are beyond playable. Laptop specs: Acer swift 3 i5 8250U MX150 2GB 240GB WD SSD 1 TB HDD 8GB RAM

Check GPU temps. May be overheating from dust bunnies or heatsink paste has dried out. If the former, alternately and repeatedly vacuuming the air intake ports and blowing air into the  exhaust ports may fix the problem. If the latter, you'll have to remove the base cover, battery and thermal fan module to repaste the CPU and GPU with Kryonaut or  ArticMX4. Jack E/NJ
