Thanks. You can increase the memory amount but the modules must have the same value: 2+2, 4+4, 8+8 or 16+16GB.

8+4 will work as well but not in dual channel... so either you don't care about dual channel or you follow the advise from colleague @laurent_14

Improves the performance of the CPU especially AMD CPUs, but do not expect miracles

Are you guys absolutely sure about this?
I have 8gb and 16gb  sticks so total is 24gb and cpuz showing they are in 'dual channel' mode and also task manager shows they are running at 2400 mhz. Its been 4 months and I see absolutely no issues and the performance is much better now compared to single ram.

It runs better than single but not better than dual if you have 2 sticks with the same size.

Dude you specifically said it wont run on dual channel mode but it is showing its running in dual channel mode on my system. So systems dont run as per 'your assumptions' so stop giving false info.

It was so in the past - https://www.compuram.de/blog/en/single-dual-and-multi-channel-memory-modes/   things changed, so my post was indeed misleading.

It wasn't so back in the past, it was literally just 4 months back, exactly when I bought that another 16gb ram.
I could have gone through this post that time and saw your 'accepted answer' and would have got influenced and bought a 8gb ram and still would have cried for bad performance since due to corona we had to work from home and our work actually requires high ram usage around 14-16 gb.
No, things haven't changed in the past 4 or 6 months, they have been same for many more years. But glad that I was able to clear some of your misconceptions.
I myself would never fully belive on something someone said even if I know a thing or two, I will always do a thorough research before having an opinion on even the simplest matters. Coz I know people get influenced by opinions of other perople even if it may be wrong.
    Peace!!!

Same  size of ram stick was a requirement in the past (not 4 months ago) hence the link and my post admitting my mistake! Apparently we are not speaking same language or at least we are not on a same page. I am done here! Have a nice day and good luck with your other topic!
