    Do the following:

    1. Let It Finish Overnight - First of all, “Repairing disk errors” is triggered by automatic CHKDSK on booting. As we all know, CHKDSK indeed plays a good role in scanning and repairing disk problems. Plus, most of time, CHKDSK may take a pretty long time to finish, such as 4 hours or more. So, it’s advisable to leave your computer running overnight to let it finish. But, the next day when you wake up and check PC, if “Repairing disk errors” issue persists, you can move on to try the other means.

    2. Restart from Safe Mode - It is known that safe mode can solve myriad problems in computer. Hence, follow the steps below to try to get rid of stuck “Repairing disk errors”. At first, hold “Shift” key and press “Power” button until enter “Sign-in” screen and click “Restart”.

After restart, in the new screen, choose “Troubleshoot” > “Advanced options” > “Startup Settings” > “Restart”.

Then, in the displaying option list, press “F5” key to start computer from Safe Mode with Networking.

    3. Automatic Repair - Provided that your computer even can’t start normally in safe mode, then you can try “Automatic repair” through the following operations.

       a) At the outset, insert Windows installation media.

       b) Then, press “F12” to enter Boot menu, in which change the boot drive to the installation media.

        c) When getting a prompt of “Press any key to boot from CD or DVD”, just press any key.

       d) Next, choose the time and keyboard type.

       e) Subsequently, choose “Repair your computer”.

       f) Lastly, click “Troubleshooting” > “Advanced option” > “Automatic repair”.

    4. System Restore - Assuming that the tips above cannot help you, you can try System Restore to roll back your Windows to an earlier good state.

       a) To begin with, reboot your computer from a bootable USB drive or DVD.

       b) Then, in “Install Windows” screen, select “Repair your computer”.

       c) Finally, “Troubleshoot” > “Advanced option” > “System Restore”.

    5. Replace Drive - The most terrible case which you must be reluctant to accepting is that the drive in the computer has failed thoroughly. Under these circumstance, the unique way is to replace the old drive with a new and healthy one. If you’ve backed up the failed drive before, after installing the new drive, you can restore backed up data to the new drive, like PST recovery. If you haven't backed up your drive and you have valuable data then you must take the drive to a specialist "Hard Drive Technician" so that they can restore your failed drive, usually they can retrieve most of the data e.g. up to 99% but, you must not open and/or damage the drive, before you take it to these specialists.
