I've already asked this question on here but basically I bought this SB220Q monitor off amazon renewed sold by Acer and it tints to a shade of red on the right side on and off every 3 seconds. I tried using a different HDMI cable and it seems to be the monitor but Id like to know if there is anything I can do to fix it on my own.

I don't think so, you should contact the vendor if it hasn't been too long or Acer support for warranty repair.

Hmmm... not a PC expert here, but have you tried tinkering with the monitor menu options: raising/dimming the contrast/brightness on the monitor or swapping cables like a DVI vs a Display Port vs a VGA vs a HDMI cable?0

The point here is that you gotta try singling out the factor that's screwing up your monitor's right half. It could be cause of a faulty cable, or worst case scenario, your monitor is slightly messed up.
