So recently got my Nitro 5 (i7 9750h, 1660 ti). Not disappointed by performance although temps are a tad high. Playing in max fans makes it okay though, 80-84c max. But I've seen that the auto modes max fan speed is lower than the actual max fan speed. Is it somehow possible to increase the max fan speed in the auto mode ? Because then I won't have to game on max fans all the time. The fans would go to the max speed when needed. Because auto mode isn't that good while gaming.

Sorry mate, thermal fan control is disabled in BIOS and the advanced  and power options are locked, so there is nothing you can do at least without voiding the warranty.

@batmalin I wouldn't worry about the warranty much, so you're saying there is a way of doing so ? It's just thato auto temps reach 90c while gaming. But on max fans they are around 80-85 on the most intense games.

It is possible but only if you mod/unlock your bios, you can enable fan control and use whatever fan software you wish, you can even adjust your own fan curve.

@egydiocoelho Yeah whenever I tried auto mode I had coolboost on but the fans would not song as fast they do on max mode. On max is 6122 and 6000 rpm for cpu and gpu but it's around 5000 rpm on auto mode. And I've only used the coolboost option in nitrosense.
