I've been currently using an Acer Aspire Xc-780 unit, but i decided to move my system into a bigger case, but the problem is, the size of it is very unusual, and I'm not sure if my motherboard would fit into a micro atx case.

It's a pretty stock sized MB, it may be DTX which is slightly smaller than uATX, but they use the same mounting holes. Most cases will handle both sizes. What you likely won't be able to reuse is the power supply. The larger cases will use a standard ATX supply, not the smaller Flex.

So what size of case should I get then? Thank you so much!

Any case that supports uATX or DTX will work. I believe that's almost every case out there. :)
