Hello,
I recently formatted my acer in subject after 2 years and half.
Of course, sometimes to format and refresh the machine is necessary, but what do you suggest me to do in order to keep it safe and well performing?

Thanks,

Improve your speed by following my steps→
    1)Disk defragment

Optimizing your drives can help your PC run smoother and boot up faster. To optimize them:

    • Click on window icon then in search bar type defrag

    • Click on Defragment and Optimize Drives.

      Optimize Drives window
    • Select the disk drive in which window is installed

    • Select the Optimize button

    (It may take sometime)

    2)keep you window update
    3)Update your gpu driver
    4)disable useless startup apps
Startup impact,” which is how much it slows down Windows 10 when the system starts up.

Right click on taskbar then click on taskmanager→startup tab then disable useless app, simply right-click and hit Disable

This doesn't disable the program entirely; it only prevents it from launching at startup — you can always run the application after launch. Also, if you later decide you want it to launch at startup, you can just return to this area of the Task Manager, right-click the application and select “Enable.”

    5)use high performance mode
Right on battery icon then select power options and set high performance mode

Btw, day by day after installing new software system become slow, remove unwanted software from your laptop.
Defrag you disk regularly after a weak
