Please I don't know what's wrong with my Nitro 5. It's not charging, when plugged in the indicator is always blinking but the battery is not powered. Have tried another battery and charger but the problem still reoccurs. Does anyone know what can be wrong.

Do a battery reset. Unplug and power down then take a straightened paper clip and put it in the small hole on the underside, press for 10 seconds then let sit for 15 mins and plug in and power up

Hello DanAde, I also experienced the same issue... it neither decreases nor increases the charging percentage. Right?. I sent my device to the Acer Repair Center. They confirmed that issue was with the battery and they replaced it. Hopefully, My device may come in the next week. Did you change your battery with a compatible one?

Have tried the battery reset but it's not charging and the indicator is still blinking. Sometimes the indicator doesn't even come up and the charger isn't even getting warm or hot

You can get the batery information from a hardware monitoring software. Check your charger with a multimeter to verify it's functionality. Did you try a battery monitoring tool to diagnosis?

Your Acer Care Center app has a battery health checkup under the Checkup tab

Also try to uninstall both items under Battery in the Device Manager. Then restart your Laptop

The last time I checked it, the status was Good. And the battery is currently flat, so the laptop won't come up

I think it's a bad battery, contact Acer for a replacement
