Hi so today I just shut down my Helios 300 (1060 and 7700HQ) and when I got it back on I noticed Throttlestop not running and it gives the winring0.dll error. Also the worst part is MSI Afterburner won't detect my GPU! So I can't undervolt my GPU and that's really bad. I have reinstalled nvidia drivers and MSI Afterburner. I really don't know what to do. Would be thankful for some help.

I found a reason why. Did you install Valorant? It's the vanguard anticheat system that blocks WinRing0x64.sys. The good thing is that you can disable it, but you won't be able to play valorant until you restart the laptop or the patch it.

The exact same problem appeared for me today. I dont have an acer laptop so it's not related to the brand. After I used the system restore point it worked again, until I shut down the laptop again

    Maybe a window update issue

And how would one do that? I uninstalled everything from Riot to Vanguard, except for 2 files of Vanguard that says they are open and it won't let me delete them, could they cause the issue?

In the bottom right corner of the home screen you have a lot of small icons, you right click on vanguard ( it's the red coloured one) and click on exit vanguard. You don't need to uninstall vanguard. Just before using throttlestop and msi afterburner disable vanguard and it works instantly.

I had a blue screen with error code: Wdf_violation. I uninstalled vanguard(could not play it anyway do not why.) and after uninstalling vanguard anti-cheat voilaa my pc boots up perfect without any blue screens, but i really want to play valorant again don't know how ;(
