Cannot Restore to Factory Defaults

I have a Aspire One D255E netbook.  One day will attempting to start the unit would not allow Windows 7 to boot.  After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I made the decision to restore the system to factory default.  I attempted to restore the system to factory default using recovery discs purchased via the Acer online store, and a USB DVD-ROM drive. The eRecovery Management Program loads and starts to work; however, after loading the first recovery disc the system copies files up to approx 14%-17% and stalls.  I've attempted multiple attempts at the process, even leaving it running for over 12 hrs,  and the process always stalls at the same point, when copying files from the first recovery disc and generally around the 14% to 17% completion mark.  Any suggestions on what my issue may be or what to try next would be truly appreciated.

if you have hidden recovery partition on your system (you can check it in disk management) with name like PQSERVICE than go to bios and enable D2D (Disk to Disk) recovery and boot your system and now your OEM (Factory Default) OS will install , may take some time like an hour or two.... so all the best....

    Hope it helps..
