Hello, I have a similar product, Swift SF314-54-331M.  The bottom cover below the charging port has a loose screw and when I open the lid the whole thing gapes.  It's under warranty but I'd like to avoid sending the thing off and try to tighten that screw myself.  Is it the same M2.5*6L K CLEAN T6 NY screw set?  I'm looking at a T6 screwdriver on Amazon.. right thing to get?  Acer repaired the charging port a year ago and I suspect they did not replace that screw correctly.  My worry is if it is broken off or the thread stripped, but.. one step at a time.  My daughter uses this for lockdown schooling so keen to get sorted asap.  Thanks for any advice.

Yes, if you have the Torx screws they are Torx 6, so that the bit size needed to tighten it. If it's stripped then trying to tighten it won't fix it, and if it's obvious you've been mucking with the screw they'll probably not cover it under warranty, since it's so easy to overtighten them.

thank you lots!  I'll proceed gently to see if tightening seems to be working and stop soon as I sense resistance.  returning product is a prolonged and stressful experience with acer, i've found.
