Nitro 5 won't see the HDD drive after a reboot.

I got a weird problem with my very new Nitro 5 (AN515-54), when I first installed the HDD in it, I booted into win10 and went to Disk Management and found the HDD seen as a foreign disk, so I imported it and win10 saw the HDD successfully with no problems.

But when I restarted the laptop, it took too much time to boot (~4 mins) and when win10 opened, it didn't see the HDD drive at all, it won't even show up in Disk Management.

So, I disassembled my laptop again, and disconnected the cable then connected it again, booted to win10 and then it will read in the first boot with no problems, but it won''t after I reboot it. I tried multiple times, and I got the same result every time.

Here is some pictures about to give more details:

BTW, I really don't want to lose any data on the HDD since I got no backups for it.

Does the same problem occur when disabling fast startup in power options and fast boot in bios?

Initialize and assign drive letter if needed (assuming the disk is new and there is no data on it)

It is not a new disk, and it has around 700 GB of Data which I really don't want to lose since I got no backups, is there any solution?

Update: After installing the HDD inside the laptop (nitro 5), even though it is still uninitialized and I can't use it thru win10, the device performance changed negatively in general. It is most obvious when booting up, it takes dramatically more time to fully boot up.

So, I decided to take it out of the laptop, and put in an enclosure to make it external hard drive.

    Thanks for your help.
  • I believe that you are not able to configure correctly. The recommendation is to actually use ssd in ahci mode, to avoid turning the ssd back into a recovery unit.
