VG271PBMIIPX problems with HDR in Battlefield 1 and 5, no G-Sync Compatible in nvidia panel

Hello
I recently bought VG271PBMIIPX monitor. I attached it to my 1070 using HDMI cable which was added in box (not sure which HDMI version it was). I am running 64 bit windows 8.1.
Here are my problems:
  1. When I connected monitor to my PC and starded it I had multiple strange resolutions in my nvidia control panel up to 4k. It properly selected 1080p but refresh rate was only 60Hz without any possibility to raise it.

I had to scroll down to find proper resolutions where max was 1080p and there were proper refresh rates up to 144Hz.

I chose 144Hz and everything worked fine.
  2. Then I enabled HDR mode and set FreeSync to enabled. However my NVidia control panel does not detect monitor as g-sync compatible. There is no g-sync section despite having latest 445.87 drivers. Is this "old" windows fault? Or HDMI cable instead of DisplayPort fault?
  3. Then I tried Battlefield 1 and 5 in HDR. This is what I got:

As you can see - terrible, almost non-readable text, terrible negative-like colours, completely useless game. Similar effect are in battlefield 1, but it is a bit better there - only text is ruined in bf 1, while bf 5 is just useless. Again - is this Windows 8.1 fault, game fault, or HDMI cable fault?

The reason was nvidia overlay with "details" filter enabled. I used it in the past on standard monitor. Disabling it solved my problems although welcome screen on bf 1 and bf 5 are still too bright. The rest of the game however looks normal.
Still no g-sync in nvidia control panel on windows 8.1 however.

Problem returned. No idea what to do. Maybe screen is broken?

When I boot my PC everything is fine:

After I launch bf 5 with hdr my screen becomes green.

After I close game it becomes washed out grey-ish and switches to 60Hz (I observe it on cursor movement, because system still says 144Hz) - overall terrible display.

Closing game and restarting monitor does not help. I have to restart PC to fix screen. Maybe it has something with new nvidia drivers for 1070 :/
