Right now my all in one aspire zs600 is only working like a monitor. I can plug my Xbox into it to get a display, but I can’t power it on to actually use it as a computer. The power button won’t even turn on. It was working perfectly fine yesterday.

It’s obviously getting power because I can see my Xbox display on it, but the power button won’t light up and I can’t use it as an actual computer. Help please

Try pressing and holding the power button for 30 seconds. That forces a full power off in case the system is stuck in one of the sleep modes. After releasing the button try just turning it on normally.

Didn’t work sadly, light on the power button won’t come on or anything

Dang, that makes it tougher. Since the monitor portion is working we can assume the power supply is working as well. The next step isn't for the faint of heart ... there is a cable that runs between the power button (and some other stuff right around there) and the motherboard. If that cable has become disconnected or is broken/pinched then it's possible the computer isn't turning on because the power button isn't making contact. Think you are up to tearing everything apart?

I’m willing to take it apart,  I would just be worried about messing something up and ruining the monitor. I use the monitor for my Xbox so I wouldn’t want to risk that not working as well.

Well if you decide to give it a try you want to lay it flat on the screen side, then remove the stand. Next remove the front bezel for the optical drive, it'll do bad things if you try to leave it on. From there you should find screws to remove (a couple where the stand was mounted then seven, I think, from near the bottom), then carefully pry the back of the case off, working around until it's all loose. From there you will have to look to decide if you need to remove some or all of the shielding in order to get to both ends of the wire between the switch and the MB.
