Intel optane issue

    I understood a bit of what is going on and I found some info on this (old) subject. You have to go into intel rapid storage technology program and disable "intelRapidStorage" this will disable caching to the Optane. But your struggle isn't done. I'm still in the process of backing up my data, but it appears that when windows 10 first installs it "pairs" with the main HDD, much like a Raid setup. And being only tech saavy on the surface, the only resolution i can find is to reset windows 10 to factory settings. I hope it works, but man I really didn't want to loose my data. It seemed like such a simple thing to do--swap a hdd and image the main drive.

    If there is another solution please post it, i'm very curious.
