I am planning to install a second SSD into my new Acer laptop.  Can anyone confirm that the SanDisk SSD Plus 1TB Internal SSD (Model SDSSDA-1T00-G26) is compatible with my model laptop?  Here is the product link on Amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-SSD-PLUS-Internal-SDSSDA-1T00-G26/dp/B07D998212/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=2.5+1tb+ssd&qid=1586623450&sr=8-5

I was also considering the WD Green 1TB Internal (Model WDS100T2G0A).

Thank you!

New HDD or SSD usually come packaged in an antistatic plastic bag. You can also use this antistat bag itself as an antistat package for the SSD and then ordinary foam to immobilize and protect the drive inside the antistat bag. It's crowded enough inside these laptops than to add more metal SSD brackets & screws.  :)   Jack E/NJ

Both should be fine if you have the room inside. For this reason, I usually immobilize and protect the 2.5" drives with antistat foam rather than use the brackets. Jack E/NJ

Thanks for the confirmation and the tip!  I'll look into antistat foam as well
