I have an Acer Predator G9-793-77AC.  It’s working fine but I was hoping maybe someone could clear up an issue, can’t figure it out.

I replaced the 256gb boot drive, bottom m.2, with a Samsung 1tb 860 EVO SATA drive.  What I find baffling is that the data rates, read write are way above the normal SSD 500 Mbps values, yet its a SATA drive, not an nvme drive?

Crystal Disk Mark ... Samsung Magician were used for testing.  Read/Write was 3725/3137 ... 3674/2809.
The origional 256gb m.2 was 538/284 ... 546/499

Any input on this would be appreciated, thanks.
