Hi, Sorry to hear about your issue. Kindly try the below steps and do a Powerwash to reinstall the Chrome OS and check.

    Powerwash:

    1. Restart the unit and get to the Log-in page where it asks for the Log-in Passsword to login in-to the unit.
    2. Press and hold down Ctrl + Alt + Shift together and when you are holding down all the three keys together, tap the letter R key.
    3. Click the Restart button to restart your Chromebook.
    4. Click the Powerwash  button to continue.
    5. Click Continue and follow the onscreen instructions to reset your Chromebook.

If this doesn't work, try the below steps to do the Powerwash.
    1. Open the Chrome browser and tap on the three vertical dots that you see on the top right corner of the screen and go to Settings.
    2. Scroll down and go the option Advanced that has a drop-down arrow. Tap it and go further down and see for the option Powerwash on the bottom.
    3. Tap the option Powerwash and follow the onscreen instructions to do the Powerwash.

Try the above ways to try Powerwash. If even after doing the powerwash doesn't fix the issue, check the link below  and contact the Acer support.

this laptop has been freezing up since the first power up, it is less than 60 days old, if the product were up to standards, it wouldn't need a powerwash.
