Hello everyone!

I own an Acer Aspire V Nitro 15 Black Edition for about 2.5 years now and after 2 years it started to give buzzing noises from the speaker when I'm playing GPU heavy games (like Tom Clancy's Division 2, GTA5 and even CS:GO). Normally when I use it the problem doesn't appear. The laptop has been cleaned out 2 times since I got it and my temperatures are relatively low (compared to before it has been cleaned out). My CPU temperatures was 92-100 °C, now it's 78-82 °C when I'm gaming, my GPU temps are about 76 °C (when the buzzing starts).

The buzzing is not consistent, it slowly starts to grow and after quitting it will fade away in about 2 minutes.

Some fun facts:
- League of Legends runs on the highest settings without any problems
- vSync can limit or even make the problem go away with some games

Thanks in advance for your help!

    Hi,

Check the chipset and sound drivers, replace them with the official ones or update them.

    Regards.

Tried a clean install of windows, with drivers that came with the DVD and even with the ones on acer's official website, but didn't help. After a half hour of gaming the noise came back.

    Here are some details:
    - noise only coming from only the left speaker (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RLKoFmJO2mQ)
    - if a just mute the speakers the noise doesn't go away, but after i disable it in device manager it will instantly disappear. The problem is that with it I can't use my headphones.

Workaround i found: usage of bluetooth headphone or using my external microphone's audio output, but i'm still courious if there is a fix for the laptop speaker to be disabled without disabling the jack output

P.S.: Ivan_PC's answer didn't solve it so please don't mark it as accepted answer

I have the same issue, only thing that worked is removing the bad speaker. I had problems with my left speakers, so i cut the bad one. Now i have problems with the right ones. I need to find which one is at fault and remove it as well. I looked for replacements, sadly no luck.

I see a lot of people saying they have an audio buzz but see no solutions.  I'm new here, so I suspect I'm not searching correctly.  Thanks in advance if you can help!
