Twice after a Windows 7 update, my Aspire 7739 eyboard has had letters and numbers stop functioning, and other times the letters and numbers function. As you can see this time it is the K, well once anyway

It may be possible that a Windows Update is causing the issue, but the more likely is that there is a hardware issue with the keyboard itself.

If you know specifically which Windows Update seems to be causing the issue, please let me know and we can investigate it.

Otherwise, we would suggest contacting technical support in your region for further assistance with this issue.

I took my laptop in and they said it was due to a Windows Update. I went back to a previous update prior to the issues and the computer and keyboard worked great, until Windows updated again. Now I get the compatibility issue prompt everytime I boot up. It says that there is a compatability issue with Acer and Windows. Not sure what to do. The computer is a little over a year old, and being a student I can not afford to purchase another at this time.
