What problem are you having that you think manually controlling the fan speed will fix? Jack E/NJ

You may indirectly control fan speeds through adjustments in Control Panel's power plans and the latest ACER quick access application https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/7385?b=1 . Or maybe even Nitrosense  https://us.answers.acer.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/56400/~/nitrosense-software   Slightly more direct control, which is probably what you/'re looking for, might be possible with downloadable tools like speedfan https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SpeedFan . But because fan speeds are highly dependent on preset thresholds of your system's temperature sensors, they're unlikely to meet your expectations of directly controlling fan speeds without regard to actual CPU/GPU temperatures.   Jack E/NJ

@atulhimi88 Some quick access & nitrosense functionality might be possible by trying to install them in WINE compatibility mode. Jack E/NJ

AN515-31 has only one fan not two like other Nitro and Predator laptops. So PredatorSense doesn't provide any control over fan speed.Only CoolBoost works which is already in Quick Access. So I don't see any logic behind installing PredatorSense.
I don't know whether there is any Acer software to control speed of a single fan.If it is available please reply.

    Hello everyone
    I am owner od AN515-51
It was overheating, I send it on service, pretty bad service experience
I was searching for fan control software,  installed "open version" of predator sense on nitro model, and temperature was 97°C while gaming.
I assume that 97° is maximum shown value for sensor, real temperature was maybe higher, you couldnt put hand on devislce how hot it was.

Someone said that re-paste new thermal should work.
    Maybe thats not necessary.
Neither software and fan control - not necessary.

I opened laptop myself (lost varanty, but service didnt helped and they issued me a bill anyway, so I really dont care neither for varanty, neither for premium varanty for 100€, because services are filthy *****, thats just robbery and I was ***** for paying that)

In attachment is photo of half-disassembled ventilators  on AN515-51
Removed dust, temperature on idle is at 42°C,   about 65°C while gaming

Every ventilator got 2 screws and one wire-jack - remove,  flip over both in same time, clean - assemble back , assemble bottim cover, thats it.

    Works like a charm.
    No overheating anymore.
But i recomend you to install Nitro Sense, or in mine case Predator Sense  to monitor and use fan control and Cool Boost technology.

Here is one more image, of dust inside that blocks both fans and blowing into passive cooling pipe thats going to the CPU... vacuum cleaner without opening amd disasemble didnt cleaned this mess up.
Im sorry for not taking more photos or creating tutorial.
