Hi!
I have acer nitro an515-54. all drivers are up to date and when I play something is failing for a moment. for example - playing wow it freezes for 2 seconds then gets back to normal, while playing assassin's creed odyssey fps drops rapidly for 2-3 seconds and after that it gets back to normal... what is the problem? any ideas?

Another game I play is world of warcraft (the old version 3.3.5 patch) it complately freezes for 2 seconds then recovers.

1)Set high performance plan from predatorsense
    2)always play while plug in
    important-
Update your graphic driver you have to install nvidia software for that, driver in acer site are just base driver.

    GET GAME READY DRIVER

For each major game release, NVIDIA works closely with developers to boost performance, fix bugs, and improve your gaming experience. Technologies like NVIDIA GameWorks™ give you the tools to optimize gameplay and bring you these improvements through a Game Ready driver update. GeForce Experience automatically notifies you when these drivers are available and, with a single click, lets you update to the latest driver—without leaving your desktop.

First time Download software from nvidia site, go through my link then select you graphic card details and download game ready driver

    https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx

After installation open nvidia software go 3d settings and add you game .exe file and set plan high performance nvidia processor then you can open you game

Click on yes if you issue solve

CPU temperature is almost never higher than 80 degrees (Celsius) and GPU does not go higher than 65 degrees. CPU fan speed is always set to max and GPU fan is set to automatic... I never thought these temperatures would affect performance. and I checked my driver in geforce experience... it's the same version that I found on the link.

You should set your fan speed max or auto.do not customize fan settings.
Open cmd as administrator then type command - sfc /scannow

    Restart your system when complete
Then check your game.change fan settings to auto

Click yes if your issue is solved

Didn't quite get it, please, could you be more specific about not customising fan settings? I use nitrosense to tinker with it

Open nitrosense and set your fans auto.
YOU WILL SEE 3 OPTION auto, max, custom
