Hello! I have one Acer Aspire E5-575G-5538. For 2 days I am facing problems. My laptop stopped. I checked the charger, battery, everything ok. I found an old topic that helped me. (https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/538100/acer-laptop-shuts-off-randomly-on-battery-power-even-when-charged#latest). I put an addition for the button to be pressed. But it only works with external power supply, the battery does not charge (80% constant). After several hours of working with him, I turned off it. The surprise, the same problem, does not turn on.
What I noticed is a sound, as if something were charging, like the sound of a capacitor charging. I tried to remove the battery, and leave only the power. No results. I also noticed that, sometimes, after many connections to the power supply, the LED lights up and I can turn it on and use it, but when I unplug it, I take it off the end, I don't know when I will be able to I start it.
Thank you!

Disconnect and reconnect the battery cable from the motherboard several times. If there is some corrosion on the contacts it can act like there is extra resistance in the circuit.

Do you have any way to test the charger? It might have frayed wires that aren't always making good contact. You could also try opening it up and unseating then reseating the battery connector to make sure there is no corrosion building up.

Yes, I checked. It is perfectly functional. I have one more, from an old laptop, same specs. Is not the charger.

Then I'd start looking at the battery and it's connection.

It is connected. I checked also the battery. Battery is ok. Voltage is ok.

Hey, I did it. Nothing. But I have a question. Battery's pins that are connected to motherboards, when the laptop is off should have voltage, because the multimeter displays 0V, and when is plugged in (the power supply) displays 0.21V. Before I checked the battery cells, not the connection.

After a lot of checks, I found out, the battery is the problem. Most likely her circuit is defective. It does not pass through the positive pine. I put a wire directly to the battery. The result, the laptop started. I will order a new battery and come back with news. Thank you very much!

Great! I Love it when there's an actual cause to figure out. :)
