My v5 is from 2012 or 2013, when I start it up it says it’s preparing automatic repair it then goes onto a black screen and stays there for up to 8 hours, haven’t tried waiting more. I have tried the ALT F10 reset but the only thing that happens is that the acer logo disappears for a minute or 2 and then it’s back to preparing of automatic repairs and hen black screen again. What more can I try to do to save this computer

    Hai @Zombigent
You will be having altgr key which is found on the right side to the space bar. Use that key along with F10.
Turn on the computer press and hold altgr and keep it on tapping the F10 key along with it
Or otherwise do the multiple shutdown in you computer
By turning on the computer and once you see the acer logo turn off the computer. Do this for 5 to 6 times and leave the computer turn on at the final time.
Before all these troubleshooting steps do the power drain and bios default and go with above steps.
